Salinomycin

Introduction:

Salinomycin is a polyether antibiotic extracted from the culture medium of Streptomyces albicans. It is an ion carrier antibiotic. It is generally in the form of salinomycin sodium salt, also known as salinomycin sodium salt. Its sodium salt is white or light yellow crystalline powder, slightly with specific odor, stable property, insoluble in water, soluble in acetone, benzene and methanol.


Function:
1. Salinomycin is a kind of high effective, broad-spectrum, low drug resistance and low residue antibiotic, which is a broad-spectrum anti coccidiosis drug.
2. It has significant bactericidal and bacteriostatic effects on Gram positive bacteria, fungi, pathogenic insects and coccidia.
3. It is an anticoccidial agent for chicken coccidiosis and promoting the growth of livestock and poultry
