Product Description

Taurine is a kind of sulfur-containing amino acid with simple structure in animals. Its chemical name is 2-aminoethanesulfonic acid, molecular formula is C2H7NO3S, molecular weight is 125.15, odorless, slightly acidic, and its dilute solution is neutral. Stable to heat, it combines with bile acid in human and animal bile and exists in a combined form; while it exists in free form in brain, ovary, heart, liver, milk, pineal, pituitary, retina, adrenal glands and other tissues. The amount is 12-18g, but does not participate in protein synthesis. Taurine is a conditional essential amino acid of the human body and plays an important role in the development of the nervous system of the fetus and infant. Taurine can be widely used in medicine, food additives, fluorescent whitening agents, organic synthesis and other fields, and can also be used as biochemical reagents, wetting agents, and pH buffers.

High Quality 99% Feed Grade Taurine for Feed Additives

Adding an appropriate amount of taurine to milk and milk powder has a nutritional value close to breast milk. Taurine can also be used as a high-quality additive in food and beverages for pilots, astronauts, athletes, etc., to enhance physical fitness and relieve fatigue. In addition, taurine is added to animal feed as a feed additive to prevent fish diseases and brighten the eyes of pets such as cats and dogs. It is expected that taurine will be mainly used as a food nutrient additive in the future. The market for food additives will be very broad, and it will also produce greater economic and social benefits.
